Kevin is among a select few attorneys to have served as both an Assistant District Attorney and as an Assistant Public Defender in the 22nd Judicial District. His extensive and varied experience has allowed him to garner and maintain relationships with Clerks, Judges, District Attorneys, Administrative Agencies and members of law enforcement statewide; and Kevin brings his extensive experience, history of success, interpersonal skills and passion for the courtroom to every case.

If you or a member of your family are charged with a criminal offense in Tennessee; the process of navigating the criminal justice system can be daunting and the effects (and collateral effects) of allegations/convictions can be utterly devastating. Over fifteen years of professional practice, Kevin has developed specific, successful strategies and processes for addressing criminal allegations at every level and in every conceivable procedural posture in Tennessee Courts in order to obtain the best possible result for his clients.

From the initial consultation throughout the pendency of the matter(s) affecting his clients, Kevin personally attends to each client with a detail oriented “plan your work, work your plan” approach utilizing the latest in legal tech to both advocate for and communicate with his clients. Put simply, Kevin’s extensive experience and incomparable trial record for his clients over the last decade and a half allows him to translate the seemingly foreign language, complex procedure(s) and often confounding nuances of the Tennessee court system so that his clients possess the requisite information, knowledge and understanding to proceed with confidence in any matter, in any court statewide from City/Sessions Courts to Circuit/Criminal Courts and through the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.

Outside of the courtroom Kevin is an avid cyclist, having completed both the Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee and the 3 State, 3 Mountain Challenge in the same calendar year. A City of Columbia resident, Kevin’s other hobbies include training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as performing stand-up comedy, and he can often be found on the downtown square with his German Shepherd ‘Radley’ who enjoys frequent dips in the courthouse fountains. If you, a friend or family member is in need of representation, please call Kevin and schedule a consultation for a case evaluation: Kevin will research your matter, define and explain the factual/procedural/substantive issues in the case and formulate a comprehensive strategy for your defense going forward. Your freedom requires dogged protection, and you deserve the peace of mind that Kevin’s extensive experience, unique courtroom ability and personal tenacity bring to bear for his clients.
